Tom Ford Lost Cherry
Luscious. Tempting. Isatiable. Lost Cherry is a full-bodied journey into the once forbidden - only available in selected stores, so not many people even know about it, but it is an amazing fragrance.
When I ask in a perfume store, they usually tell me they don't stock it, but recommend somewhere that may have it, usually in a conspiratorial whisper. I suspect this is clever merchandising by Tom Ford Private Blend.
It can be described as a gourmand style. The trend has steadily increased in popularity since 1992 with fragrances such as Thierry Mugler's Angel. They have been described as olfactory desserts, which means they smell fruity.
This is from a review on Colognoisseur:
"This is as good as it gets with a gourmand style of perfume. The only caveat is the same with any of them; if you’re not fond of cherry Lost Cherry isn’t going to find you changing your mind.
If you’re looking for something new from Tom Ford Private Blend this is definitely that. It has been a long time since I couldn’t stop thinking about a Private Blend release.
Lost Cherry has helped me find my enthusiasm for the brand, again."
